I actually purchase this item in May, and just started using it in August; I don't know what took me so long because this oil works excellent. I'm using this for the Real Queens/greenhouse method for hair growth since Dec 1st. So far my 4A natural hair is very soft and less tangled. I'm wearing flat twist & wigs for a protective style. Washing once a month with African Black soap. I haven't had the heavy shedding I've heard occurs with JBCO and it hasn't irritated my scalp. I use it every other night, so the smokey smell is not very noticeable. I colored my grey before I started this method, so I will be tracking hair growth by measuring my grey roots. So far so good.

My hair is pretty damaged from dyeing, heat and every day wear and tear.
